How we work

Get the builder in early

Most of our work arrives before the drawings are finished. We price it, plan it and test it for buildability while the design develops, then carry the same team through construction to handover.

01

Early engagement

We join the project team early, often before documentation is complete. That is when a builder is most useful: pricing the design as it develops, flagging what will be hard to build, and finding savings while they still cost nothing to make.

02

Pre-construction

Trades are tendered, staging is worked out and approvals are closed off before we start on site. By day one there is a programme and a cost plan the whole team has seen.

03

Construction

A dedicated site manager runs the job day to day. Progress is reported against the programme and the budget every week, and when something goes wrong we bring it to you early, with a recommendation.

04

Completion

Commissioning, handover documents and defects are managed like the rest of the build: on a list, with owners and dates. We keep answering the phone after practical completion.

What we do

Supporting design through delivery

  • New architectural homes

  • Renovations and additions

  • Heritage and restoration works

  • Basement construction

  • Structural alteration and complex staging

  • Remedial and upgrade works

  • Project management

  • Early contractor involvement (ECI)

Recent work runs from a full heritage restoration with a new basement in Canterbury to a bathroom remediation in Bentleigh. The size changes. The way we run the job does not.

Project systems

One source of information

Every project runs on Procore and BuildPass: one system for drawings, programme, safety and cost, so clients, architects and the site team work from the same information.
